Our March round up is slightly early as we have two exciting employment opportunities for members living with a disability who have: 

  • A Bachelor degree or equivalent (i.e., close to completion)
  • In law, policy, service development, business administration or similar.

Do you work in Australian tourism or hospitality companies? Do you feel thrive at work sometimes? If not, how can we help to empower you to thrive at work? Emily Lu from Griffith University is doing her PhD research on empowering workers with disability to thrive in the tourism and hospitality sector.

Are you a parent of a child with disability?


We want to hear about your child’s educational experiences. Participate in this research being conducted by Monash University along with other universities around the globe from the UK, Italy, Norway, India, Canada and many other countries. Participation involves completing a brief online survey.

Queensland Government Disability Department: Entry Level Positions


The Queensland government disability department are looking for advisors to contribute to the functional area of Disability and Seniors Connect. 


Applicants will need a Bachelor degree or equivalent (i.e., close to completion) in law, policy, service development, or business administration or similar.

Matt Hsu’s Obscure Orchestra is a DIY anti-racist ensemble underpinned by community-minded inclusivity, comprising of 20+ BIPOC, First Nations, disabled, non-binary and trans artists. Challenging the pomp and formality of classical orchestras, Obscure Orchestra is regarded as one of Australia’s most respected ensembles.

Location: Brisbane Powerhouse, 119 Lamington Street, New Farm Queensland.
