Feros Care is a large charity based on the Gold Coast that provides community and residential aged care and disability supports throughout the eastern states of Australia.

With changes to Aged Care legislation, our newly formed Quality of Care Advisory Committee is seeking greater representation from consumers and advocates for aged care.

The legislation changes have been introduced to improve transparency and accountability and increase the voice of consumers at decision making and advisory tables. A consumer representative on our committee should be a person who is either receiving aged care services or is supporting a person who is receiving aged care services.

The Committee will oversee and monitor the clinical governance and care outcomes for our community and residential aged care customers. It will report to the Feros Care Board on a regular basis. Meetings will be held 6 times per year and will sometimes at our corporate office in Coolangatta or in one of our residential villages in Northern NSW and sometimes remotely.

The position will be remunerated. The successful applicant will be required to undertake a National Police check.

We will get back to you as soon as possible and we look forward to hearing from you
