What is this project about?

This project is about your experience during Project SEARCH.

UnitingCare is working with Griffith University researchers to evaluate the Project SEARCH program in Australia. We aim to make the program even better for interns and support its expansion to new sites.

Why we do this survey?

Your feedback will help improve the Project Search program and support its growth to other sites. We want to hear about:

  • What has been helpful or challenging during the program
  • How you feel about your current placement
  • Your ideas for making Project SEARCH better in the future

You can take the survey even if you’ve finished the program or are still in the early stages.

Your voice matters

By sharing your experience, you’ll help shape the future of employment and training opportunities for people with disability. What you say will help improve support, wellbeing, and inclusion in the workplace.

Need help?

You can do the survey online or contact us if you need help completing it. We can assist by phone, text, email, or even set up a time for an interview.

  • Take your time!

    • You don’t have to finish the survey all at once. You can take breaks and come back later.
    • Your answers will be saved automatically.
    • But please try to answer all the questions.

There are around 35 to 46 questions in the survey. Some are multiple choice, and some ask for short written answers. Most questions are optional — but a few are required (like your age and program site) so we can understand your answers better.

We expect the survey will take about 15 to 20 minutes to complete.

    The survey includes:

    • 9 questions about you (like your age, gender, disability type, and where you live)
    • 6 questions about your health, wellbeing, and emotions
    • Around 12–15 questions about your current Project SEARCH experience
    • A few optional questions at the end for you to share extra feedback

The survey is voluntary. Voluntary means it’s your choice if you want to take part.

Your data and information will be kept private and secure. We only use your responses to improve the program and support others in the future.
